How many band members are there in Hot Flash?HOT FLASH has 6 members including bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, percussion and a lead vocalist who also plays supporting percussion instruments. What type of events are you available for?We are available by reservation for corporate and private parties, weddings, outdoor concerts, and night clubs. How long do you play, and how many breaks do you take?Most parties are four hours in which we will take three (3) fifteen minute breaks. During our breaks we provide recorded music piped thru our sound system. Back to TopHow do you control the volume?We are experts in keeping the volume just right. During dinner or cocktails, we play at a volume that allows your guests to carry on a conversation. After dinner we increase the energy just enough to get the crowd dancing. We use a State-of-the-Art sound system that provides the highest quality of sound and our sound tech can raise or lower the volume with the touch of a button Back to TopWhat are the advantages of using a Live Band?Live music creates energy and excitement which simply cannot be duplicated by recorded music. We can create a mood that will get the crowd dancing, singing and having a ball. Back to TopWill you learn a special request?We are happy to accommodate up to two specially requested songs if you will provide us a tape or CD no later than six weeks prior to the date of your event. Back to TopCan you also provide music for a wedding ceremony and/or cocktail hour?Our keyboardist is a master at providing background music and traditional wedding music for ceremonies and cocktail parties. Back to TopHow will you handle the flow of events, introductions and special dances?You will receive a copy of our Master of Ceremonies form in advance. This form will allow you to specify how the days events will be handled. All of the members of HOT FLASH are experienced at working with event coordinators, catering staff and other vendors so you are insured that the day will run smoothly. What happens next?We send you our Entertainment Agreement which clearly spells out the terms and conditions.
